Last night, El and I took our second trip to London to see a London Prepares Series event. This time it was diving - men's 10m platform synchronized. The event was held in the new Aquatics Center , whose design is difficult to appreciate from close up. It may be because the wings are "removable" that portions of the building (e.g. the bathrooms) feel very "Ikea" - precut and quick to assemble. One of the diving pairs we saw was Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield. I remembered my camera this time and managed to get this shot before the battery died. Obviously I have my own Olympic preparations to make.
2021 and I'm still trying to remember which box I packed my sense of adventure in. Weaving and baking and walking the dogs until I can find it.
